Step 1
Step 1
The faecal sample is prepared using our easy two-minute method.
Step 2
The prepared sample is injected into the cassette.
Step 3
The surface of the cassette is scanned by the digital scanning device using a high-powered microscope lens and camera.
Step 4
The scanned images are uploaded to the Cloud, where proprietary AI models identify and count the parasitic eggs that are present in the sample.
Step 5
The algorithm references the OvaCyte™ image library, which currently has over 700,000 images and 150,000 tagged parasites, and is constantly expanding.
Step 6
The results are presented in an easy-to-read report on the device’s screen or via the Telenostic web application in minutes.
